BRANDING & IDENTITY
An evolving visual identity system adapting to Taylor Swift's new album aesthetics while maintaining brand consistency
Saratay House needed a dynamic visual identity system that could evolve alongside Taylor Swift's album eras while maintaining brand recognition. The challenge was to create a flexible yet cohesive branding framework that would allow for thematic adaptations while ensuring the community could still recognize Saratay House across different campaigns and events.
The solution was to develop a modular branding system with core elements that remain consistent (typography structure, layout principles, and logo framework) while allowing for customization of color palettes, textures, and supporting graphic elements based on each album's aesthetic.
For each Taylor Swift album era, the branding undergoes a metamorphosis: The Midnights era embraced deep blues and purples with star motifs, while the Speak Now era incorporated whimsical typography and fairy tale-inspired elements with the signature purple color scheme. The Red era featured bold typography and autumn-inspired visuals, while the 1989 era embraced a clean, polaroid-inspired aesthetic with vibrant blues.
This adaptive approach allowed Saratay House to stay relevant and exciting to the Taylor Swift fan community while building a recognizable brand that could grow and evolve over time.
